I have seen the movie on 27th itself… A really nice movie with M.T’s Brilliant Script with his trademark dialogs , LalJose’s Brilliant Craft and Vijay Ulaganath’s super camera work. Moreover everyone in the film lived as the characters. Well Done..
It is poetry in motion.A wonderful treat for lovers of good cinema.Watched it on the very 1st day and if it wasnt for some senseless viewers and their vulgar comments(dunno y)I would have had a wonderful experience!! Anyways will go once again after the initial rushes are over to watch it peacefully.Kudos to the wonderful team behind the movie.Right from the performances to every minute detail,the movie has been a wonderful experience.It has also driven me to pick up my mom’s old books written by the irreplacable MT sir.Hoping to see more of such classics.Malayalam cinema is back!!!!

Well, This film has given me a response to which i have been waiting from the past one year. This movie has a very good theme which is relevant up and until the human race is alive.
LalJose has done meticulous works in the past, this one too has been one among them and perhaps a true Diamond. Every sequence and the dialogues are meticulously moulded to its perfection as though d introduction of Archana and Kailash, and all others who r involved in Neelathamara.
My benevolent gratitude to LalJose… Looking forward more from you…

just saw neelathamara from doha cinema-qatar.
Its simply superb….
it was a retreat for me…felt like im back in kerala.
i liked the whole movie and its simplicity, especially the minute accessories that u used in it..like..panama cigars, the old photo frames..etc. I think the main tharavadu is Aanakkara Vadakkathu..but im not sure..i was actually living with the movie. The wonderful thing that i noticed is the unfamiliar faces in the casting and their natural way of acting..Hats off to the whole team bro….cheers!!!
songs and the re-recording are fantastic…

LAL & CREWSI WAS BIT LATE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE AS IT GOT RELEASED ONLY LATE IN DUBAI. WONDERFUL MOVIE. CONGRATS..MR.LAL JOSE. MALAYALAM NEEDS SUCH TYPE OF MOVIES TO FILL THE HEARTS OF ORDINARY PEOPLE.
first when i saw the poster,i thought that the movie will be a boring drama,but when my father told me about the old movie,i got excited,and saw the new one,amazing,marvellous and excellent,lal jose sir u have done a great work and created history by making the first remake movie,the mind blowing script by mt sir ,and the wonderful camerawork by vijay ulakanath .the new comers archana kavi is a promise to the film industry,she has potrayed kunhimalu very well,kailash also has done justice to his part,songs by vidyasagar is melodius,especially the top charter “anuraga vilochananayi”,the movie is a must watch . i am giving 4/5 rating for neelathamara and it is surely one of the classics of 2009.
